I don’t know what’s gotten into me this year, but I’ve been really hit by the ‘seasonal item’ bug this fall. I feel like I used to get so excited over pumpkin spice lattes a few years back, and then the luster faded. I don’t know about you, but once I started having them every year, the excitement faded a little bit. Maybe it’s just that I’m getting older, but I feel like it was JUST fall like a couple weeks ago and now it’s that time again.
Anyway, this year I’ve been much more active in seeking out products to share with you. I’ve learned how much you love these products being sourced for you – and I’m happy to show up and provide.
And of course, as much as I say it’s for you, I’m not one bit sad about finding gluten and dairy-free pumpkin muffin mix that I don’t have to make from scratch (yes, I already ordered a box and it’s patiently waiting for me in my pantry).
I don’t know about you, but when I think of fall, I think of cozy blankets, flannel, reading or watching movies, and big bowls of hearty chili or stew. I also think of pumpkin-flavored everything, cranberries, lots of warm drinks, and tasty sweet treats.
In this post, I’ve rounded up some delicious gluten-free and dairy-free fall items that I think you’ll love. Some of them might not be things you’d want to eat every day like donuts or pie. But I’m also of the mindset of treating yourself when it feels right and your body is asking for it. It’s all about moderation, amiright??
Of course, there’s also some cornbread mixes, snack ideas that are quintessentially fall, and some packaged soups – because I don’t know anyone who wants to cook from scratch every day of the week. Let’s dig in, shall we?
Gluten-free Dairy-free Fall Coffee Creamers
Who doesn’t love a pumpkin spice latte this time of year? Instead of paying mega bucks at Starbucks, check out these two options for a dairy-free way to satisfy your craving at home. Best of all? They’re also sugar-free so you can add as much (or as little) sweetness as you prefer.
Gluten-free Dairy-free Fall Donuts
Okay okay, these aren’t like a health food or anything… but who doesn’t love a little donut treat once in a while? I know that one of the BIG things that I feel like I miss out on with my family are the breakfast treats they get to enjoy. Get your fix with these awesome fall-inspired donuts from Katz – that also just happen to be gluten-free and dairy-free!
Gluten-free Dairy-free Fall Bread & Muffin Mixes
Cornbread and pumpkin bread are staples this time of year – but most boxed mixes you find at the store aren’t gluten-free and dairy-free. I was so excited to find these options for both bread and muffins this season. We’ve already blown through a box of the Pumpkin Muffin mix by Simple Mills – my entire family devoured them in two days.
Gluten-free Dairy-free Fall Snacks
I carry snacks around in my purse and car wherever I go. I’m one of those people who refuses to be hungry for long without getting ‘hangry.’ So when I went searching for a few seasonal fall snack ideas, I was pleasantly surprised to find a number of great options I could keep on hand. The pumpkin spice Larabars are my FAVE this time of year!
Gluten-free Dairy-free Fall Prepared Soups & Chili
On busy weeknights, I don’t always have time to cook at home. Some nights, it’s just easier to have something easy waiting for us in the pantry that we can heat up, find an easy side dish and call it dinner. These prepared soups and chilis are perfect for the fall, because they’re hearty, filled with big flavors, and will warm you up from the inside out.
Gluten-free Dairy-free Fall Nut Butters & Spreads
Alright, so nut butters and spreads aren’t really something you think “ah, I wish I had a fall version of this.” But as I was hunting down some amazing fall-inspired treats for you, a few of these came on my radar… and I just couldn’t NOT share them with you. I mean, sure, you could totally make your own – but why would you when these look so delicious?!
I hope if you’ve been looking for some seasonal inspiration to get into the feeling of fall that this list has helped you. Remember: just because you’re living without gluten or dairy DOESN’T mean you have to go without!
Check out these products, look for them in the store, and give them a try! And if you loved this resource, be sure to let me know in the comments below so I know to continue making more lists like this in the future. 🙂
