Most people who come into my online world and have found my website or blog have gotten in touch with me to tell me of the health issues they’re currently facing. So many folks I hear from are dealing with:

Digestive issues, like diarrhea, constipation, and hemorrhoids
Regular bloating and gas
Headaches or migraines
Anxiety or depression
Joint pain
And a whole lot more!
The reality is that while identifying food intolerances and food triggers is such an important part of taking great care of your body, the story doesn’t always necessarily end there.
Some symptoms aren’t resolved by eliminating gluten and dairy alone.
Sometimes other factors are at play that we can’t control like genetics or our living situations or work environment. Maybe we’re living with multiple health issues and cutting out gluten and dairy isn’t even half of it!
But guess what?!
Even if there are things we can’t completely change, there are so many things that we CAN do on a daily basis to allow our bodies the fighting chance to feel our very best every day.

I believe that listening to our bodies is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. I also believe that our bodies are sending us signals every day on how it wants to be treated.
Changing our diet by eliminating gluten and dairy is one way to do that. The next level is adding small simple tweaks that turn into healthy habits to allow us to live healthy, beautiful lives where we can feel our best in our skin as often as possible.
I’m a certified holistic health coach and for the past 9 years, I’ve been living with gluten and dairy food intolerances. I’ve also been sharing my story, my research, and all my best tips in this little pocket of the online world that you’re hanging out at right now.
When I got started with a gluten and dairy-free diet, I saw some major improvements in my health. A ton of my digestive issues disappeared, my cystic acne improved dramatically, I stopped getting tonsil stones in my throat, and the laundry list of symptoms I was carrying around got reduced by at least half with that change alone.
But you know what?
Where I am now: happy, healthy and mostly symptom-free can’t be attributed to removing gluten and dairy alone.
Nope, I developed small healthy habits that have radically changed my life. These are things that I do on autopilot now, because I’ve learned to bake them into my regular routine.
Call them habits, call them hacks or tweaks, call them whatever you want. All I know is that they help me feel like the best version of myself as often as physically possible.
